Are you preparing for childbirth? If this is the first time for you, you are bound to panic. It’s only natural. As you get closer and closer to your suggested delivery date, you’ll feel restless, anxious and doubtful. Just relax! You’re not the only one. It’s a natural process and almost all women in the world will go through it at least once in her life. If you take the much dreaded labor pain as just few hours of pain for a lifetime of happiness, you’ll feel better.
With a little patience and concentration, you can fight all your fears and get ready for a brand new life with your little one. Nine months is enough time for you to plan for your life with your child. There are a lot of things you can do during this time but it is suggestive that you do a few tasks at a time so that you are not driven insane with all that pressure!
These following tips might help you relieve from the labor anxiety:
Talk to your mother, friends and relatives who have already been through it. Trust me; they’ll have a lot to say about what to do before and after labor and how to take care of a child.
Take some time to talk with your doctor, find out if there are any complications, make a birth plan, and generally plan for life with your baby.
Read books about pregnancy and child care.
Plan in advance how you will manage your time after the child birth.
Eat healthy food and go for light walks. But keep away from heavy work.
Finally, just relax and wait for the big day. Be glad that you are capable of such miracle.

Well, this is some good advice. My wife's not pregnant but it'll be useful for us in the future.
