Every issues of womanhood presented in the site is very strong and intriguing. The site is definitely the station for women of all ages to express themselves. Here, we can discuss anything we want; women rights, education, health, discrimination, sexual abuses, marriage, love and everything. Nepalese women never had such safe and open environment to talk and express themselves. So, thanks!
But being a woman and reading all the news and the contents is not always easy. I can’t help being angry and irritated whenever I read news about a little girl being raped by an old man, a wife being tortured by husband for sexual fulfillment, girls working in dance restaurants and the abuses they suffer at the hands of the so called men, young girls on prostitution and many other news.
Each time I go through such articles related to women in problem due to some evil man, my blood boils, my nerves tighten and I feel like my head will burst. Then I regret “Why did I have to be born as a woman?” Being a woman, I know, I might be one of the victims of the abuses or other injustice.
No one can save the women who are in trouble unless and until men realize themselves that women are as human as they are. Women are not slaves and objects of their lust. I wonder when this problem is going to be solved. When will men’s mind be free of such evils? When will all women feel free to walk around without any fear?
We, women also want to enjoy late night outs. We want to be able to go out alone, not only with brothers and fathers. We want to feel strong and independent. We want to enjoy the freedom as boys do. But, with the increase in such crimes against women, I wonder when the time will come when we can feel free and safe.
With all that in my mind, I thought of a world without man! Mind you, it’s just a fantasy. What a great world it would be. Just women will be there without problems and pressures. A feminine society! No more rape cases, no more abuses and tortures. No one will have to become prostitute. I’d love to see the end of all the horrible stories heard each day because of those cruel men.
No woman would be pregnant. No more labor pain! After all, women are always dominated by men so better “No man no domination”. Well, it’s just a thought. I know most people will disagree but the terrible crimes against women, sometimes compel you to think like that.
